Four AHEPA Family Chapters joined forces to donate household appliances to children in need.
On Saturday, March 7, 2026, a joint charitable action was carried out on the initiative of four AHEPA Family Chapters, with the aim of addressing the immediate needs of the SOS Children’s Village of Vari.
Specifically, the following Chapters jointly contributed to the donation:
– AHEPA HJ-17 Vari – Voula – Vouliagmeni “Hephaestus”
– AHEPA A620 Bad Neustadt “König Ludwig I.” (AHEPA District of Europe – Germany)
– AHEPA A617 Frankfurt “Johann Wolfgang Goethe” (AHEPA District of Europe – Germany)
– Daughters of Penelope Chapter 447 Vari – Voula – Vouliagmeni “Agnodice”
As part of this initiative, two refrigerators, two washing machines, and one kitchen stove were donated, covering immediate equipment needs for the homes where the Village’s children reside.
The delivery of the appliances took place at the premises of the SOS Children’s Village in Vari, Attica, in the presence of representatives from the participating Chapters and the Village’s administration.
This initiative serves as yet another testament to the AHEPA Family’s commitment to the principles of philanthropy and social solidarity, as well as to the effective cooperation between Chapters from Greece and Germany united for a common cause.
