lecture on the digital euro

Vortrag über den digitalen Euro

AHEPA Frankfurt invites you to a lecture on the digital euro one of the most significant initiatives set to shape the future of money in Europe.

The digital euro is far more than a technical project of the European Central Bank. Questions such as offline usability without an internet connection, the future payment infrastructure, accessibility for all parts of society, and the relationship between the digital euro and cash are of immediate and highly practical relevance to every citizen.

At the European level, the project has reached a decisive stage. Those who understand today’s developments now will be well prepared for what lies ahead. Particular attention is due to the question of how the protection of personal data can be guaranteed while at the same time meeting anti-money-laundering requirements.

We warmly invite you to attend the event, raise your questions, and take the opportunity to exchange views and connect with others.

Please note: the lecture will be held in Greek.

The event also marks the launch of a new lecture series entitled “Visiting Chapters”, beginning with a collaboration between the Frankfurt Chapter and the Berlin Chapter.

The concept: the two chapters jointly identify and invite speakers and host lectures held alternately in Frankfurt and Berlin, with each chapter taking turns as host and as guest. Each event is promoted jointly across both networks.

Other chapters are expressly invited to join this new initiative.
